Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a Bartender at Courtyard Portland Tigard to create cocktails and deliver memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will engage guests, mix drinks, and support service across bar, restaurant and room service.

Success requires strong communication, flexibility, and reliability, with opportunities for growth in a hospitality-driven team and access to comprehensive benefits including daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Previous food & beverage or serving experience required.
• Must obtain Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server’s Permit.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests in the bar, restaurant and room service attentively.
• Mix cocktails and drinks; serve wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and food as needed.
• Meet guest requests with flexibility and creativity.
• Complete guest orders and collect payments accurately.
• Clean and wash barware; restock and prep bar items.
• Assist with quality, cleanliness and organization of bar, restaurant and kitchen.
• Support inventory, ordering and receiving of all F&B items.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests in the bar, restaurant and room service attentively and efficiently.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks. Serve wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Serve food prepared in the restaurant as needed.
• Offer both flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests.
• Complete guest orders and accurately collect payments.
• Clean and wash bar ware, utensils and bar area. Restock and prep bar items as needed.
• Assist with quality, cleanliness and organization of the bar, restaurant and kitchen.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Qualifications

Previous food and beverage and/or serving experience is required. Some locations may require bartending experience specifically. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology. This job requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. You must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server’s Permit. Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
