Forgotten Tonic in Saint Augustine, FL is seeking a welcoming bartender to join our upscale casual restaurant and bar. The role requires 1 year of bartender experience, classic cocktail knowledge, cash handling accuracy, and the ability to operate Toast POS.

You will take and ring in orders, suggest drinks, maintain a clean bar, and help ensure guests have a memorable experience. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability are requested, with full-time or part-time options.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle money accurately.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale system (Toast).
• Ability to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders accurately with a positive attitude.
• Enter orders into the POS for transmission to kitchen staff.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner and suggest drinks.
• Prepare checks itemizing total costs and sales taxes.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and stock supplies.
• Develop knowledge of the menu and new beverages.
