Job summary

Soho House & Co. is seeking a Bartender to prepare beverages, serve food, and deliver memorable experiences for guests and members. You will uphold brand standards, greet guests, remember preferences, upsell, and keep the bar stocked and clean.

You should be energetic, neat, observant and personable with a passion for craft cocktails and guest service; this is a full-time on-site role at our Nashville location with growth opportunities within the global program.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in high-volume F&B operations.
• Craft cocktail experience and handling seasonally influenced items.
• Experience making coffee drinks is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and deliver drink requests promptly with consistency.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Flexible schedule and reliable attendance.
• Tips certification and familiarity with Micros a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow steps of service and guidelines for cocktails, juices, coffee and bar drinks.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and assist with glassware washing and cleanup.
• Educate guests about beverage options learned through training.
• Describe daily specials and menu items to promote sales and experiences.
• Handle payments and operate cash register for sold items.
• Check customer ages for alcohol/tobacco and monitor intake.
• Arrange bottles/glasses to create appealing displays and upsell.
• Serve customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment with Barbacks.
• Mix ingredients to maintain a globally unified beverage program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
