Job summary

Cavalier Distributing Company is seeking a Craft Beverage Sales Representative for an outside sales role in Florida. You will own your territory, manage relationships with retailers, and drive growth across our craft beer and specialty beverage portfolio.

This is a commission-based, high-ownership position with 40 hours per week in the field. Agencies note: benefits begin after 60 days, including Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and a Reimbursement Program for Craft

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of the craft beer and beverage industry.
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to apply for and obtain a solicitor’s license with the state.

Responsibilities

• Build Your Book: Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts while developing new business and foster long-lasting relationships with customers.
• Hit the Road: Manage your day, regularly visit accounts, and be the trusted authority on craft beverages in your area.
• Sell What You Love: Focus on selling and expanding product lines, ensuring Cavalier products are placed and maintained.
• Be the Expert: Host beer tastings, dinners, and promotions to drive enthusiasm and sales.
• Manage Your Territory: Handle all sales cycle aspects, from quotes to monthly goals and timely collections.
• Support the Brand: Contribute to seasonal displays, store resets, and represent Cavalier at events and festivals (occasional evenings/weekends).

This is an outside sales position where you will spend 40 hours per week out in your assigned territory, working independently to achieve your goals. You are the face of Cavalier, responsible for successful sales, distribution, and placement of our diverse product portfolio across new and existing retail accounts.
