Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a part-time Beer Den Host to support beer sales, tastings, and in-store events. The role involves engaging guests, educating them on beer attributes, and maintaining the Beer Den area with proper sanitation and merchandising standards.

You will collaborate with store teams and distributors, execute promotions, and ensure compliance with ALE laws. The position requires a friendly, dependable, and physically capable team member who can lift up to 30 lb regularly.

Qualifications

• Beer knowledge and familiarity with ALE laws.
• Sales-minded with strong communication and guest service.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and reliable.
• Ability to work with Store Manager, vendors, and teams.
• Physical ability to lift 30 lbs consistently and 60 lbs occasionally.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Order and maintain inventory of Beer Den supplies and draught beer.
• Build relationships with distributor/wholesaler partners and brewery reps.
• Schedule events like tap takeovers and tastings in-store.
• Train Beer Den Hosts on procedures and safety standards.
• Drive packaged beer and growler sales; manage displays and pricing.
• Perform weekly communications for Beer Den guests and assist with branding.
