Job summary

Barcade LLC is seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Bartender to represent the Barcade brand. You will prepare beverages, engage guests, take orders, and ensure responsible service while maintaining a top-notch guest experience.

Qualifications include 2 years in a fast-paced bar, familiarity with craft beer and spirits, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Barcade offers a full-time hourly role with benefits and opportunities to enjoy vintage arcade games.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a fast-paced, high-standard bar setting.
• Ability to work late nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Working knowledge of craft beer, craft spirits and food.
• Bonus points for interest in vintage arcade games.
• Passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages to proper service specs and recipes.
• Engage with guests, take orders and serve food and drinks.
• Assess customers’ needs and make recommendations.
• Check IDs and confirm legal drinking age.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies.
• Stay guest-focused to ensure an excellent guest experience.
• Comply with alcoholic beverage safe service regulations.
• Set up and break down bar and surrounding areas.
