Soho House & Co in Portland is seeking a Bartender (primarily PM & weekend shifts) to craft beverages, serve food, and create memorable guest experiences. You will upsell, learn guest preferences, and maintain brand standards across our beverage program.

The role requires 2+ years in a busy F&B setting, craft cocktail expertise, and OLCC certification. A flexible schedule and micros experience are a plus for delivering top-tier service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience working in high-volume F&B operation.
• Craft cocktail experience with seasonal perishable items.
• Experience making coffee drinks a plus.
• Ability to multitask and deliver drink requests in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining consistency.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Flexible schedule and reliable.
• OLCC-certified.
• Micros a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow steps of service and company guidelines for cocktails.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and assist with glassware and cleanup.
• Educate guests about beverage options through trainings.
• Discuss daily specials and food pairings to promote sales.
• Collect payment on sold items.
• Check IDs and manage intoxication levels.
• Arrange bottles and displays to boost beverage options and sales.
• Serve customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment with Barbacks.
• Mix ingredients per recipes for a consistent program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
