Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Bartender in Washington, DC to greet guests, take orders and mix a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. You will process transactions and contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

You’ll work with a team, stay current on drink trends, and uphold responsible service standards while delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bartender experience preferred.
• Knowledge of bartending principles, recipes and current trends.
• Able to obtain all required alcohol service certifications.
• Displays phenomenal hospitality and beverage knowledge.
• Demonstrates organizational and multi-tasking skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Requires occasional lifting up to 25 lb.
• Enjoys fast-paced, fun work environment.
• Ideal candidate will be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactions.
• Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• May provide servers drinks from the service well.
• Adheres to alcohol service policies and checks IDs for legal age.
• Adheres to cash handling policies.
• Sets up and breaks down workstations; cleans and sanitizes.
