Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Bartender to support the F&B Operational Manager with the overall dining program for the community. You will manage daily restaurant and bar operations, train staff, and participate in catering and events.

The role requires strong cocktail knowledge, guest service excellence, and adherence to safety and sanitation policies. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, time off, holidays, and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• At least 1 year kitchen experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills required.
• Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Understand house cocktails, specialty drinks, and bar operations.
• Assist servers with alcohol-related menu questions.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Assist customers in selecting food and beverages, explain chef's specials.
• Record orders and special requests for bar and kitchen.
• Deliver orders from bar and kitchen; provide accompaniments.
• Maintain table settings and replenish utensils; monitor spills.
• Open and pour wine at tableside.
• Process payments and handle receipts.
