Metro Market in Stevens Point is looking for a bartender/wine beverage associate to deliver friendly, efficient service while maintaining a safe, clean environment. You will greet customers, explain the drink menu and assist with product retrieval, while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and POS transactions.

Ideal candidates have a bartending license, 21+ years old, and experience in high-volume settings, with strong communication, teamwork, and a passion for wine and beverages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old with a bartending license.
• Proven knowledge of wine, beverages and contemporary dining.
• Experience in a high-volume establishment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; team player.
• Sound judgement and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and assist customers.
• Greet customers and escort to products, help with loading/unloading.
• Maintain drink menu knowledge and prepare cocktails and dishes.
• Operate POS, process payments and balance registers.
• Adhere to liquor regulations and safety guidelines; resolve issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist teammates as needed.
