Job summary

Bear Flag Fish Company is opening a new Costa Mesa location this summer and is seeking a talented, energetic bartender who loves creating memorable guest experiences. If you know your way around a cocktail shaker and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we’d love to meet you.

Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years’ bartending experience, strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine and spirits, excellent customer service and cash handling with POS systems, and the ability to read the room

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced bar, restaurant, or lounge setting.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills – able to read the room and build rapport with guests.
• Comfortable with multitasking and working efficiently under pressure during peak hours.
• Accurate with cash handling and POS systems.
• Working knowledge of responsible alcohol service and local liquor laws.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in drink preparation.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs (e.g. kegs, boxes, etc.)
