Job summary

Makers Union is seeking a Bartender to join its dynamic pub team. You will craft classic cocktails, interact with guests, maintain a clean and stocked bar, and collaborate with the kitchen to ensure timely service.

The role requires at least 6 months of experience, the ability to work under pressure, and flexible shifts including weekends. Certification in responsible alcohol service is preferred; must be of legal drinking age. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• Able to work calmly under pressure.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be of legal age to prepare, serve, and ring alcoholic beverages.
• Able to work flexible shifts including weekends and some holidays.
• Certified in responsible alcohol service as required by law.
• Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with creativity and precision.
• Interact with guests, provide recommendations, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Process drink orders accurately, handle cash transactions and records.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Stay updated on beverage trends and techniques to enhance the menu.
