Job summary

Army NAF seeks a bartender/server to support on-base hospitality operations. You will set up bars, handle cash and stock, and prepare a limited range of drinks as requested by patrons and staff. Maintaining clean work areas and accurate sales records is essential for daily operations.

The role may require irregular shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience with alcohol service, basic math, and adherence to safety standards are important, as is meeting driving/public

Qualifications

• Resumes must be two pages (or less) clearly demonstrating relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities.
• Meet state/local age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.
• Possess math skills to calculate patron bills and manage inventory.
• Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Sets up bars for operation and handles cash/stock service.
• Maintains adequate stock, sets up storeroom/work area for easy access.
• Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and staff.
• Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips; keeps area clean.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
