Job summary

Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) operates a small full-service bar on base, mixing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The role records sales, handles change, and keeps the bar clean and sanitary while tracking beverage quantities for restocking.

The candidate must meet age requirements for alcohol service, lift up to 40 pounds, and demonstrate math skills for billing and inventory. Experience in supervising bar staff is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must meet state/local age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.
• Possess math skills to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
• Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Ability to monitor and direct the work of other bar staff.

Responsibilities

• Operates a small full-service bar, mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary; maintains stock records and submits restock requests.
• Receives and checks quantity and description of stock.
• Deny sales tactfully to intoxicated or unruly customers.
• Apply arithmetic to bills and making change.
• Identify approaching inventory shortages.
