Job summary

SnackCraft in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking Cracker Processing Machine Operators to ensure quality and food safety while maintaining line efficiency. You will operate the dough processing line, roll dough into sheets, form crackers, and prep for baking, while coordinating with the mixer operator to move dough through the line.

The role requires 1–3 years of machine operator experience, strong English, and a commitment to GMP and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of machine operator experience required.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust for optimal run.
• Perform adjustments or repairs such as adjusting formers, sealing jaw knives, and temperature controls.
• Lubricate, sanitize, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on packaging line as needed.
• Start machine and feed dough from hopper into roller.
• Ensure correct labeling and data accuracy for products.
• Maintain GMP and Food Safety rules at all times.
