Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Validation Engineer / Lead (cGMP) for Project Farma, with 1‑7+ years of relevant experience and a willingness to travel within the United States. The role will reside within 50 miles of Raleigh, NC and involve substantial on‑site client work supporting CQV tasks and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or Engineering with equivalent work experience in capital project engineering or pharma cGMP facility start‑up.
• 1–7 years in consulting and/or engineering services.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% or as required.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical tasks within a project, including CQV protocol development or equipment testing under site guidance.
• Ensure tasks meet client specifications and regulatory standards (FDA, GMP).
• Author SOPs, requirements specifications, testing protocols, and summary reports.
• Identify knowledge gaps and collaborate with team leads to resolve issues.
• Perform project controls support, budgeting, scheduling, feasibility estimates, risks, and cost reports.
