Barry-Wehmiller’s Design Group in the Chicago area seeks a Project Manager II, CQV to lead commissioning, qualification, and validation projects for life sciences clients. You will develop strategies, manage resources and budgets, and drive execution from concept to start-up.

The role emphasizes strong client relationships, cross-functional collaboration, and timely delivery across multiple offices. Domestic travel is expected as project needs require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in biology, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, or another STEM field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, forecasts, and project documentation.
• Experience supporting life sciences projects through design, implementation, installation, commissioning, and start-up.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and execution strategies for commissioning, qualification, and validation engagements.
• Manage project resources, budgets, forecasts, schedules, engineering activities, and project documentation.
• Lead project execution from concept development through design, implementation, installation, commissioning, start-up, and closure.
• Coordinate commissioning, qualification, and validation activities in accordance with the approved project plan.
• Drive project outcomes aligned with defined scope, schedule, budget, and client objectives.
• Maintain and grow client relationships throughout project development and execution.
• Support local and regional client development and expansion efforts.
