Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. seeks a CQC System Manager to oversee construction quality control on-site for a federal project. You will manage submittals, reviews of work, meetings, and documentation through close-out, acting with authority across CQC matters.

This full-time role requires on-site presence, extensive QC experience, OSHA/EM-385 familiarity, fluent English, and strong coordination with the prime contractor. Competitive salary and benefits provided.

Overview

Summary:

CQC System Manager will be the individual within the onsite work organization that is responsible for overall management of CQC and has the authority to act in all CQC matters for the Contractor. This CQC System Manager is on the site at all times during construction and is employed by the prime Contractor

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Required to be on site at all times
• Responsible for overall management of the CQC program and have the authority to act in all CQC matters
• Responsible for submittals, hands on review of work in place, administration and execution of all meetings and reporting, documentation, and close-out of the project
• Interface with the customer and subcontractors
• Maintain daily logs and required daily documentation and obtain, review, approve, and process submittals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Ability to interpret documents such as:
  • Safety rules
  • Operating and Maintenance manuals
  • Procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Must be able to travel to the job site(s) as assigned
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Minimum Qualifications:

• CQC Certification (Construction Quality Management for Contractors)
• Minimum of five years of construction experience on new construction or ten years in related work
• EM-385 familiarity
• RMS proficiency
• Fluent English communication skills.
• OSHA certification
• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with OSHA 30 Experience with EM-385 (40 hr.)
• Graduate engineer, graduate architect, or a graduate of construction management.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $100,000.00-$120,000.00 annually.
