Job summary

RESPEC Morgantown, WV seeks a CQA Construction Inspection Technician to support energy and civil projects. You will perform QA inspections, document findings, and ensure fieldwork aligns with design plans and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering preferred.
1–3 years of oil/gas field or heavy equipment/site civil excavation experience preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; good communication and organization.

Responsibilities

Perform construction QA inspections to ensure conformity with plans and DEP regulations.
Conduct soil compaction testing and nuclear gauge testing.
Perform environmental inspection for E&S controls and permit compliance.
Monitor on-site contractor work and coordinate changes with design requirements.
Create project documentation: daily field reports and testing reports; track equipment on site.
Coordinate timelines with RESPEC management, staff, on-site contractors, and clients.
Provide CAD drafting/engineering support during slower periods.
