Intel's Silicon & Platform Engineering Group is seeking a CPU Design Verification Engineer to advance ATOM processors and define the future of computing. You will validate complex CPU architectures, develop scalable UVM-based verification environments, and collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and physical design teams.

In this role you will drive functional correctness, performance, and power targets while writing automation scripts in Python, Perl, or C++, and shaping verification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
• Experience with hardware modeling languages (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog) and industry-standard simulation tools.
• Experience developing UVM-based testbenches for scalable verification environments.
• Programming skills in Python, Perl, or C++.
• Knowledge of computer architecture fundamentals, CPU microarchitecture, and debugging/validation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans to validate CPU logic against architectural specs.
• Create scalable, reusable verification environments using UVM-based testbenches and coverage models.
• Perform coverage analysis, identify verification gaps, and drive closure plans.
• Execute system-level simulations to validate functionality, power, and timing.
• Debug and root-cause issues in pre-silicon environments and implement corrective measures.
