Job summary

AMD’s Cores Organization seeks an experienced Director of Silicon Design Engineering to lead advanced CPU/core silicon efforts from design through post-silicon validation. Based in Fort Collins, CO, you will shape strategy, mentor leaders, and drive cross-functional decisions with RTL, verification, physical design, DFT, and validation teams.

You’ll own delivery discipline, scale the organization, and ensure silicon readiness on aggressive schedules while building a culture of ownership,

Qualifications

• Extensive CPU/SoC development experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience delivering silicon on aggressive schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across silicon design, validation, and bring-up.
• Coordinate RTL, DV, physical design, DFT, and diagnostics across teams.
• Report silicon readiness and risks to leadership.
• Recruit and retain senior engineering talent.
