Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) seeks an ASIC Director – Chip Lead to provide technical leadership for device programs from conception to release. You will coordinate architecture, RTL, analog, verification, and timing closure, while guiding trades and manufacturing readiness.

You will work with senior silicon design teams and cross‑functional partners to align program goals with market needs, while ensuring execution excellence in a fast‑paced environment in San Jose, CA.

Qualifications

• This role requires leadership in ASIC development and successful coordination across multiple teams.
• Experience with high‑speed digital design, hardware verification and post‑silicon validation is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem solving across architecture, timing, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for one or more device programs from conception to manufacturing.
• Coordinate architecture, RTL, analog/design, verification, physical design and timing closure.
• Interface with Marketing and Architecture to define device functionality and roadmap.
• Lead trade-off decisions and problem solving across the full development cycle.
