Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in Santa Clara seeks a CPU Silicon Bring up and Validation Engineer to join the CPU Silicon Bringup Team. The role focuses on bringing up SoCs using Custom CPUs, from first silicon through productization, and coordinating with design, verification, and software teams.

You will develop bring-up test plans, prepare for emulation and FPGA pre-work, triage silicon failures, and contribute to debug feature development to improve future bringups.

Formación

• BA/BS in CS/EE with 5+ years’ experience.
• 3+ years in Silicon Validation and bring up.
• Experience with assembly and C/C++ language embedded firmware.
• Experience with software tool chain including assemblers, C compilers, Makefiles, and source code control tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop CPU bring up and validation test plans with design and verification teams.
• Prepare for CPU bring up through pre-work on emulation and FPGA platforms.
• Coordinate bring up with SOC bring up and software teams.
• Triage and debug silicon failures.
• Develop test content and strategies to validate CPU on silicon.
• Reproduce silicon fails on emulators and FPGAs with verification teams.
• Suggest and architect new debug features to improve future bringups.

Embedded firmware (assembly, C/C++)

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
