Job summary

Raleigh Comprehensive Treatment Center seeks a Certified Peer Support Specialist to assist patients recovering from Opioid Use Disorder. This full-time role supports initial contact, screening, and ongoing peer guidance in a high‑performing MAT/OTP setting.

The person will collaborate with clinicians, provide mentorship, and promote empowerment while documenting care and leveraging community resources for sustained recovery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• NCCPSS CPSS certification required in NC.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to patients recovering from Opioid Use Disorder.
• Assist patients at initial contact to expedite screening for appropriate care.
• Advocate and mentor patients to promote empowerment and engagement.
• Share coping techniques and self-help strategies with patients.
• Coordinate with clinical team and community resources to support recovery.
• Document services accurately per guidelines and maintain records.
