Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Louisville seeks a CPR/First Aid Instructor to teach AHA/ASHI CPR and First Aid classes to staff and community participants, promoting lifesaving skills useful in daily work and emergencies.

You will work with the Aquatics team, maintain current certifications, and ensure a positive, inclusive learning environment while delivering high-quality training and scheduling classes as needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills.
• Customer service oriented and able to work with staff and community.

Responsibilities

• Teach American Heart Association and ASHI CPR/First Aid classes to staff and community participants.
• Uphold the YMCA mission and professional standards.
• Complete all paperwork and documentation required by AHA, ASHI and YMCA.
• Be punctual and prepared for all assigned classes.

As a key member of the Aquatics team, a CPR/First Aid Instructor is responsible for teaching American Heart Association and/or ASHI standardized classes to staff team members or community participants.
