Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated custodian to maintain cleanliness and daily operations across our facilities. You will perform routine custodial tasks, restock supplies, and support the Executive Director with operating needs, ensuring a safe, clean environment for clients and staff.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and strong communication as part of a recovery-focused organization in Covington, LA.

Qualifications

CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant
Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility
Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director
