Responsibilities

• Provide care, comfort, and safety to assigned patients under direct supervision.
• Use infection prevention techniques to protect patients and staff.
• Performs and records delegated nursing care procedures.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Consciously use resources and supplies in daily work.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, oral hygiene).
• Help with patient mobility and turning as needed.
• Transfer/transport medications when required.
• Distribute meals, fill water pitchers, assist with feeding as needed, and collect trays.
