Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant under direct supervision to assist nurses in delivering direct and indirect patient care in a hospital setting.

The role requires an HS diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and Maryland CNA registration with at least 6 months of direct patient care experience preferred. You will support basic patient care tasks, observe patient status, and communicate with the health care team to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Heart Saver CPR certification and MD CNA registration preferred.
• Minimum 6 months direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, comfort and safety to assigned patients under direct supervision of a nurse.
• Follow infection prevention techniques and safety protocols.
• Perform and document delegated nursing care procedures.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
