Job summary

Vasion is seeking a Deal Desk & Pricing Analyst to own how we quote and price our business. You will design and govern CPQ quoting processes, product/bundle structures, price rules, discount schedules, and approval matrices across currencies, while coordinating with sales, finance, legal, and channel teams.

This role leads pricing workbook governance, currency-specific lists, and change governance, and collaborates on RFP/RFI responses and new product pricing launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 5 years in deal desk, sales operations, revenue operations, or pricing, including hands-on work in a CPQ or quoting system.
• Experience configuring CPQ or quoting logic, including price rules, discount schedules, product structure, and approval routing, not solely using the system as an end user.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills, including the ability to build a maintainable, well-structured pricing model rather than a one-off file.
• Working knowledge of B2B SaaS pricing constructs, including subscription terms, uplifts, ramps, co-termination, volume tiers, and partner discounting.
• Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to trace a pricing or quoting error to root cause.
• Ability to explain pricing logic and policy rationale to sales and finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the CPQ quoting process design and configuration including product/bundle structure, price rules, and discount schedules.
• Define and maintain approval levels, delegated authority thresholds, escalation paths, and service levels for quote turnaround and approval response.
• Maintain multi-currency price book structure and validate price derivation, discounting, and approval logic in each transacting currency.
• Diagnose and resolve pricing and quoting defects and partner with GTM Systems on changes.
• Own the design and governance of pricing workbooks including list price, volume tiers, partner discounts, and government schedules.
• Maintain currency-specific price lists, including conversion basis and rounding conventions.
• Serve as the control point for pricing changes: intake, impact modeling, approval routing, and reflection across workbook, CPQ, and price lists.
• Reconcile workbooks against system prices on a recurring cadence with version history.
