Job summary

Hobart Service seeks a CPQ Analyst to support administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of CPQ processes, tools, and systems. This role partners with Sales, Contract Support, Pricing, Finance, Operations, and IT to ensure accurate product configuration, pricing execution, quote generation, and system performance.

The CPQ Analyst helps design and document business requirements, configuration enhancements, pricing models, workflows, and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or IT related fields.
• 2–4 years of CPQ, pricing, sales operations, or related experience.
• Experience with CPQ platforms, CRM/ERP systems, or sales enablement technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in Excel, Power BI, D365, Salesforce.
• Experience supporting cross-functional business and technology initiatives.
• Industrial service or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support administration, maintenance, and enhancements of CPQ systems and tools.
• Configure products, services, pricing structures, workflows, and business rules in CPQ.
• Gather requirements, document specifications, and support solution design.
• Analyze quote and pricing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of CPQ enhancements and pricing changes.
• Troubleshoot CPQ issues with IT and business teams.
• Maintain CPQ documentation, pricing logic, and user procedures.
• Create reports and dashboards to support performance and decision-making.
• Assist with training and user adoption through job aids and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with pricing policies and governance standards.
• Participate in cross-functional projects for sales effectiveness and digital transformation.
• Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement.
