Isola is seeking a C Shift CPP Cutting Operator in Chandler, AZ. You will operate Rosenthal or USUN equipment to turn prepregs into sheets, transfer finished sheets, and cross-train in CPP/Collation duties.

This position requires attentiveness, teamwork in a fast-paced setting, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED, at least six months in manufacturing, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Remove sheets, stack, and move to tooling area.
• Inspect sheets for quality and take corrective action.
• Relocate unused rolls to staging for restocking.
• Meet daily productivity requirements.
• Complete Production and Scrap Report forms as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area and help with blade changes.
• Assist other operators to ensure timely shipment.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes.

Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a C Shift CPP Cutting Operator at our Chandler, AZ Location.

Schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Thursday - Saturday, plus every other Wednesday (Overtime extended shift and weekend work required)

Compensation: $22 per hour

THE ROLE

The CPP Cutting Operator is responsible for operating the Rosenthal or USUN Machine that fabricates prepreg rolls into sheets. This position is also responsible or the timely transfer of fabricated prepreg sheets in preparation for the tooling process. The CPP Cutting Operator is a B level position. B level positions are responsible for cross-training on A-B level positions within the CPP/Collation department.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and understand work orders.

• Maintain clean work area including vacuuming of dust after each roll and blade change.
• Assist other operators to ensure timely shipment of product.
• Use Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies to improve the process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar industrial environment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level necessary to follow work instructions, communicate safety information, and complete job-related documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, both verbally and in writing, to support safe and efficient operations.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience using a PC to enter and retrieve information.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining established safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods, up to twelve (12) hours per shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience operating a forklift or other powered industrial equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• In this role, you maybe be required to stand up to 12 hours per shift and with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping. You will also need to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds.
