Job summary

Isola Group in Chandler, AZ is hiring an A Shift CPP Cutting Operator who operates Rosenthal or USUN machinery to fabricate prepreg rolls into sheets. This level-B position cross-trains within CPP/Collation, supporting safe, efficient operations and timely transfer of material to tooling.

You will review work orders, set up rolls, adjust speeds and pressures, inspect output, and maintain a clean, organized work area while meeting daily productivity targets. Overtime and weekend work required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar industrial environment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to follow work instructions and safety information.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to enter/retrieve information.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand work orders.
• Verify information against customer profiles.
• Set up prepreg rolls onto machine following procedures.
• Enter length specifications and adjust slitters to required width.
• Adjust speed and air pressure to ensure accurate cuts.
• Remove sheets, stack, and move to tooling area.
• Inspect sheets for quality issues and take corrective action.
• Relocate unused rolls to staging area for restocking.
• Meet daily productivity requirements.
• Complete Production and Scrap Report forms as needed.
• Maintain clean work area and equipment.
• Assist other operators to ensure timely shipment of product.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to improve the process.
