Job summary

RSM US LLP in Atlanta is seeking a Manager with a background in accounting and FP&A to join our CPM Consulting Practice. This client-facing role leads end-to-end CPM implementations using Workday Adaptive Planning, Pigment, or similar platforms.

You will design, configure, and troubleshoot multidimensional planning models, lead budgeting and forecasting, and guide the project team through discovery to deployment while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, consolidation, workforce planning, or related FP&A processes in Adaptive from Workday or Pigment.
• Experience leading CPM, financial systems, or technology-enabled finance transformation projects from requirements through deployment and support.
• Strong understanding of accounting, financial statements, multidimensional modeling, data integration, reporting, and FP&A processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines; travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead client delivery activities and take ownership of overall project success.
• Lead discovery, requirements gathering, process discussions, and solution-design sessions with client stakeholders.
• Translate financial and operational requirements into scalable CPM solutions using Workday Adaptive Planning, Pigment, or comparable platforms.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot multidimensional planning models, calculations, reports, dashboards, workflows, and integrations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, scenario modeling, financial reporting, allocations, consolidations, and related CPM processes.
• Develop and present business requirements, design documents, solution mock-ups, demonstrations, and other project deliverables.
• Manage project scope, staffing, tasks, timelines, budgets, risks, and competing priorities through implementation and support.
• Oversee data integration, transformation, reconciliation, and validation across source systems and CPM applications.
• Communicate project status, decisions, issues, and risks to client contacts and internal leadership.
• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and feedback to project team members; review deliverables for technical accuracy and quality.
