Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing to develop prospect-facing thought leadership materials and social media content reflecting the firm's investment philosophy.
• Support and manage content deliverables from inception through completion, including timelines, version control, and compliance review.
• Manage recurring reporting deliverables including monthly and quarterly packets, attribution write-ups, and client reports.
• Support content strategy and multi-jurisdiction content for global distribution objectives.
• Translate portfolio positioning, performance drivers, market context, and investment themes into clear written materials.
• Conduct research and data analysis to support client communications on portfolio, benchmark and market data.
• Maintain and enhance libraries of approved language, data exhibits, and templates.
• Develop understanding of Harris | Oakmark’s philosophy, strategies and client communication approach.
• Collaborate with investment professionals and other partners to ensure timely, accurate content aligned with business goals.

The Position

The Client Portfolio Management (CPM) team translates complex investment concepts, portfolio insights, and market perspectives into clear, compelling content for clients and prospects. The team develops and maintains investment and portfolio-focused materials, working with investment professionals, distribution partners and other stakeholders to reflect Harris | Oakmark’s investment philosophy, portfolio insights and long-term value investing approach.

The Assistant Vice President, CPM Content Specialist focuses on creating, managing and executing investment content and client communication materials. You will develop portfolio, performance and market-related content for clients and prospects, transforming investment insights, portfolio analysis and market developments into clear, accurate and compelling materials while managing recurring reporting deliverables, supporting thought leadership initiatives, and coordinating content projects from development through delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies and macroeconomic trends, combined with exceptional written communication, analytical and project management skills. Success in this role requires intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating with stakeholders across the firm.

• Support content strategy initiatives and the development of multi-jurisdiction content to support global distribution objectives
• Translate portfolio positioning, performance drivers, market context, and investment themes into clear, accurate, and compelling written materials for prospects, clients, consultants, and intermediaries
• Conduct research and data analysis to support client communications, including portfolio, benchmark, attribution, valuation, company, sector, and market-related information
• Maintain and enhance libraries of approved language, source data, exhibits, templates, and other recurring materials
• Develop a strong understanding of Harris |Oakmark’s investment philosophy, strategies, portfolios, and approach to client communication
• Collaborate with investment professionals and other business partners to ensure content is timely, accurate, and aligned with business objectives

Qualifications

• Excellent written, editorial, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and accurately communicate complex investment topics
• Demonstrated knowledge of investing, financial markets, and fundamental value investing
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with investment data, performance attribution, and portfolio analytics tools (Excel, FactSet, Bloomberg)
• Experience with marketing related applications such as PowerPoint with an eye for formatting consistency
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Intellectual curiosity along with a strong desire to understand investment strategies, portfolio construction, and market developments
• Collaborative approach with the ability to build effective partnerships across investment, distribution, marketing, compliance, and other business functions

Actual annual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and other job-related factors. $125,000 - $145,000 USD
