Job summary

CASES in New York seeks a Training Instructor to deliver CPI Verbal and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention trainings to CASES staff, focusing on ongoing certification and maintaining enrollment, attendance, and certification records in the CASES learning management system and CPI portal.

This full-time role offers a $75,000 annual salary, a 9–5 schedule, and flexible work arrangements to complete portions of the day remotely, with in-person sessions at 4 West 125th Street and occasional travel

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of teaching or group facilitation.
• At least 2 years working with participants in behavioral health or related fields.
• Highly organized with ability to manage time independently.
• Ability to demonstrate CPI nonviolent crisis intervention movements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CPI training to CASES staff on initial and refresher basis.
• Update and customize training materials for diverse staff.
• Maintain enrollment, attendance, and certification records in LMS/CPI portal.
• Create training schedules and coordinate access to materials and locations.
• Collaborate with CPI instructors to maintain a robust instructor pool.
• Support learners to understand and apply de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques.
