Job summary

Acosta Group is seeking a Trade Specialist to serve as a liaison among the centralized trade organization, client-facing sales teams, and internal shared services. The role requires analytical and Excel-driven reconciliation expertise to support trade investments across Grocery, Natural, and Small Format channels.

You will manage complex client systems, drive exception resolution, and ensure alignment between contracts, customer execution, and financial settlement processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with trade management systems and financial reconciliation.
• Strong Excel data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to interpret contracts, rates, dates, and product details.
• Independent, detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in client trade systems and contracts.
• Identify discrepancies and assess financial impact.
• Audit customer trade events and deductions for compliance.
• Lead reconciliation aligning deduction timing with requests.
• Provide KPI reporting on open deductions.
• Analyze trade discrepancies to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with Global Business Services to resolve issues.
• Facilitate cross-functional operating cadences for transparency.
