Job summary

Shankman & Associates is seeking a Marketing Specialist to drive marketing communications for its CPG clients, focusing on direct-to-retailer campaigns, digital content, social media, and sales enablement.

You will collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing and internal teams to translate business priorities into clear communications, strengthen retailer engagement, and support sales growth across channels.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
2-5 years of relevant marketing experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail, adaptability, emotional intelligence and sound judgment.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint; Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with social media content development and management.
Demonstrated project management and copywriting skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Direct to Retailer Marketing: identify client priorities and develop retailer-facing communications.
Social Media Management: create content and cadence for social activation.
Track engagement and apply results to improve campaigns.
Develop and maintain selling materials, presentations, and digital assets.
Manage website content, copy, imagery, and design updates.
Create brand-consistent marketing materials.
Create short-form video content for various channels.
Manage branded promotional merchandise.
Develop press releases and association ads.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
