Job Title: Graphics Engineer - Intermediate

Scope
Solid understanding of design principles and software, capable of independently developing and executing visual concepts for marketing materials, branding campaigns, and websites, while collaborating with senior designers on larger projects. Demonstrate strong design skills to bring concepts from brief to completion with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating graphics and visual elements for motion video, animations, digital media and print products, under the guidance of senior graphics staff.
- Support the development of graphics materials for events, conferences, and meetings, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Produce illustrations, drawings, and other artwork as directed to enhance communications materials.
- Assist in providing photographs, charts, diagrams, maps, slides, and other visual assets for informational and briefing purposes.
- Provide support in the preparation and presentation of awards, including tasks such as matting and framing.
- Prepare and use photographs, illustrations, drawings, other artwork, charts, diagrams, dioramas, maps, slides, overlays, and other kinds of visual material for use in communicating information through visual means.
- Provide input to report and graphic standards of the customer and provide intermediate technical support.
- Possess knowledge of multiple PC and Macintosh application packages including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and drawing packages.
- Have knowledge of photography techniques, including proficiency with photo editing software and camera equipment.
- Show proficiency in industry‑standard design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Be able to work with vendors and consultants for quotes on services and subcontractors or service providers.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Graphics Design, Computer Information Systems, Commercial Art, Fine Arts, Art History, Industrial Design, Architecture, Drafting, Interior Design, Photography, Visual Communication, or related field.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in graphics and design. Alternatively, an Associate’s degree plus a minimum of seven (7) years of experience can substitute for the degree requirement. Additional years of experience may also substitute for the field of study.
