Job summary

The Dog Stop in Katy, TX is seeking an experienced dog trainer to lead group classes and private lessons, train daycare dogs during play and structured activities, and deliver board & train programs with customized plans.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of professional dog training experience, knowledge of dog behavior and conditioning, CCPDT and Fear Free certifications (or willingness to obtain), excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle dogs up to 60 lbs.

• Generate leads while building relationships with our loyal client base.
• Document progress and communicate milestones with owners.

Requirements:

• 2+ years professional dog training experience.
• Knowledge of dog behavior, operant/classical conditioning, and enrichment-based techniques.
• CCPDT certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Fear Free® certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physically able to handle dogs up to 60 lbs.

Compensation:
