You will interact with applicants, liaisons, department chairs, and medical staff leaders to ensure accreditation standards are met.

The role requires CPCS certification and 1–4 years in Medical Staff Services, with strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to manage credentialing workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CPCS certification required through National Association Medical Staff Services.
• Minimum of 1-4 years of progressive experience in Medical Staff Services.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
• MD-Staff credentialing software knowledge preferred.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, strong computer skills and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Collect data for the verification and evaluation of providers applying for initial appointment and reappointment.
• Maintain accurate credentials files and credentialing database.
• Identify potential issues and adverse information; independently investigate and validate information.
• Familiar with medical staff meeting management and minute taking; practice service excellence.
