Qualifications

• 3-5 years of outpatient coding experience in a multi-specialty facility.
• Familiarity with MassHealth ACO program is a plus.
• Experience with Epic systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes based on documentation.
• Ensure timely coding completion to meet billing deadlines.
• Assist in resolving documentation issues to expedite billing.
• Clarify coding questions with healthcare providers.
• Perform claim edit corrections and denial reviews.
• Identify coding trends that may risk revenue.
