Job summary

Mountain View Hospital is seeking a Billing/Coding Clerk to support our Rigby facility with accounts receivable and patient billing processes. The role involves posting payments, maintaining patient accounts from billing to payment receipt, and documenting all activity.

Candidate should have a GED or high school diploma, CPC certification, and 1–3 months of related experience or training. Proficiency with a clinic billing system and basic computer skills are expected, along with strong attention

Qualifications

• CPC certification required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to accounts receivable collection.
• Establish payment arrangements with patients to collect on accounts.
• Post payments from mail or lock box to accounts.
• File insurance according to State and Federal guidelines.
• Notes every account worked.
• Assist other billing clerks with additional duties as assigned.
