GRMC Recognized and Certified as is seeking a Billing Clerk to correct, complete, and process claims for all payer codes. This role supports accurate hospital billing and requires meticulous data handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One-year billing/accounts receivable experience in similar setting.
• Training/background in ICD-A/CPT codes.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Multitasking and handling multiple functions.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD9 codes.
• Knowledge of all payer codes.
• Ability to relate to the public regardless of ethnicity, religion, and economic status.
• Understanding of community-based organizations.
• Communication with medical staff and managers.
• Some bookkeeping and office functions knowledge.
