Job summary

externallincarecareers seeks a dedicated DME Technician to set up CPAP/RAD equipment, educate patients, and ensure center-wide compliance. You will handle equipment setup, supplies, insurance verifications, and maintain patient safety.

You will also participate in on-site and home-based care, maintain documentation, and support on-call rotations while upholding company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Completion of company's Equipment Certification Program.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and explain them to patients.

Responsibilities

• Set up CPAP/RAD equipment in a timely, professional manner.
• Perform CPAP/RAD maintenance and ensure compliance.
• Manage CPAP/RAD supplies, inquiries, and orders; verify insurance where needed.
• Assist with oxygen equipment setup in patients' homes as applicable.
• Clean rental equipment and maintain warehouse organization.
• Monitor compliance reports and follow up with non‑compliant patients.
• Handle on-call responsibilities as assigned.
