Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification or progress toward certification highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in public accounting or auditing with strong understanding of GAAS, GAAP, and regulatory reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with revenue recognition, lease accounting, or complex financial transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits of financial statements in accordance with GAAS and regulatory requirements.
  • Review accounting records, GL entries, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Utilize accounting software and analytical tools to streamline audit processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and related disclosures.
  • Perform reconciliations, analytical procedures, and substantive testing.
  • Prepare workpapers and engagement documentation with accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct review and compilation engagements.
  • Assist in drafting management letters and communicating findings to clients.
  • Collaborate with engagement teams to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Research accounting and auditing issues and apply relevant standards.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and service.
