Job summary

Prestige Staffing seeks an experienced Audit Senior / Senior Associate to lead and support audit, review, and compilation engagements for a diverse client base. You will mentor team members and contribute to the firm’s growth while ensuring high-quality work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred.
  • Public accounting experience with audit and attest services.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute audit, review, and compilation engagements.
  • Serve as in-charge professional on client engagements, including planning and supervision.
  • Review financial records, internal controls and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and audit deliverables with accuracy.
  • Communicate progress, findings and recommendations with clients and leadership.
  • Research and resolve accounting matters of moderate complexity.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop staff through guidance and feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client processes and provide value-added recommendations.
  • Support practice development initiatives and process improvements.
  • Manage multiple engagements and deadlines with exceptional client service.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior / Senior Associate to lead and support audit, review, and compilation engagements for a diverse client base. This role offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships, mentor team members, and contribute to the firm’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute audit, review, and compilation engagements in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
  • Serve as the in-charge professional on client engagements, including planning, scheduling, coordinating fieldwork, and supervising staff.
  • Review financial records, internal controls, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, workpapers, audit reports, and related deliverables with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Communicate engagement progress, findings, recommendations, and issues clearly and effectively with clients and firm leadership.
  • Research and resolve accounting and auditing matters of moderate complexity using sound professional judgment.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop staff through ongoing guidance, training, and constructive feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client processes and provide value-added recommendations.
  • Support practice development initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts within the firm.
  • Manage multiple engagements and deadlines while maintaining exceptional client service and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred.
  • Public accounting experience with a strong focus on audit and attest services.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience leading engagements and supervising staff preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with audit software and data analytics tools is a plus.
