Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage full-cycle audit engagements from planning through completion; perform risk assessment and controls testing.
  • Review and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior audit staff; assign work and provide feedback.
  • Clearly communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and engagement partners.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, deadlines, and billing targets.
  • Coordinate with clients to obtain documentation and resolve technical issues during engagements.
  • Stay current on accounting and auditing standards and ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to practice development through client opportunities and proposals.

Audit Senior/Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to lead audit engagements, ensure compliance with professional standards, and deliver high-quality client service. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, strong technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage teams and communicate findings effectively to clients and partners. This role focuses on planning, executing, and completing audits across a variety of industries while mentoring junior staff and promoting continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage full-cycle audit engagements from planning through completion, including risk assessment, internal control evaluation, testing, and reporting.
  • Review and prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior audit staff; assign work, review their output, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communicate audit findings, issues, and recommendations clearly to clients and engagement partners.
  • Ensure audit deliverables meet firm quality standards, deadlines, and billing targets.
  • Coordinate with clients to obtain necessary documentation and resolve technical and operational issues during engagements.
  • Stay current on changes in accounting and auditing standards and ensure engagements comply with professional standards.
  • Contribute to practice development by identifying client service opportunities and assisting in proposal development and client presentations.
Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required and in good standing.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Masters degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience with progressive responsibility on audit engagements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles; experience applying GAAP is preferred.
  • Proven experience supervising and mentoring audit teams; prior experience as an Audit Senior is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and audit software; experience with data analytics tools is desirable.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
