Kforce has a client in Scottsdale, AZ seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a 2-3 person general accounting team and own the day-to-day month-end close. The ideal candidate will drive process and system improvements, shorten the 10-day close, and participate in evaluating a new Fixed Assets Management software slated for 2027, while ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting.

• CPA required and strong GAAP knowledge.
• Public accounting background with manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with costing and plant operations a plus.
• Must work extended hours during close; 40-45 hrs normally, 50-55 near month-end.
