Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an attorney admitted to the Indiana Bar to join our coverage litigation practice in Northwest Indiana. The candidate should have 3–5 years of experience, excellent academics, and strong oral argument, research, and writing skills.

You will draft and review pleadings, motions, and memoranda, provide coverage opinions and client advice, conduct complex legal research, and participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.

Qualifications

• Admission to the Indiana Bar
• 3–5 years of coverage litigation experience
• Excellent academic credentials
• Superior oral argument, research, and writing skills
• Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
• Proactive, motivated, and organized

Responsibilities

• Support Clyde & Co’s Trial & Defense practice in Northwest Indiana
• Analyze insurance policies
• Draft coverage opinions and provide coverage advice and recommendations for clients
• Conduct complex and rigorous legal research and analysis
• Draft memoranda
• Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, motions with supporting briefs, and other legal correspondence
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required
