Clyde & Co in Northwest Indiana is seeking an Attorney to support our Trial & Defense practice. The ideal candidate is proactive, motivated, and organized, with superior oral argument, research and writing skills.

In this role you will analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, conduct complex legal research, and handle pleadings, memos and discovery. You will attend depositions, hearings and mediations as required while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Admission to the Indiana Bar.
• 3-5 years of coverage litigation experience.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions and provide coverage advice and recommendations for clients.
• Conduct complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda.
• Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, motions with supporting briefs and other legal correspondence.
• Attending depositions, hearings and mediations as required.
